SHIPPING
JSFP item price does not include export duties, special handling, fuel surcharges, shipping or freight charges, or sales tax.Due to our rural location same day shipping is not available. Air or overnight shipping require one additional day for delivery.
Customer will be notified and must approve estimated freight charges prior to shipment. All shipping totals which appear online are estimates only, and are FOB to destination. In the event that actual shipping charges exceed the amount estimated for shipping, JSFP retains the right to increase the charge for shipping by no more than an additional 10%.
Freight Trucks (Common Carriers)
Jefferson State Forest Products is not liable for damage to merchandize resulting from negligence or mishandling by common carrier.
Please note that the motor carrier is only responsible to move the shipment to the tailgate of the truck. It is up to the receiver to arrange for removal from the truck to the building. You may however, for additional charge, specify a lift-gate delivery or inside delivery. You may also request the carrier to call 24 hours before delivery at an additional charge so that you may arrange for help at the delivery site for unloading the shipment. There will be an additional charge for deliveries to private residential areas.
Lift Gate Delivery: Truck used for delivery will have lift gate used to lower the shipment ground level. Customer is responsible for moving product(s) inside home or business.
Commercial Dock to Dock: Commercial Business with a 48” high loading dock for receiving truck/freight trailers.
Inside Delivery: There is an extra charge for inside delivery.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
To place an international order, please call JSFP and speak with one of our Sales Consultants at (866) 628-3303 (8:00 am – 5:00 pm PT) Warranties are VOID outside the U.S. All international orders will be shipped in strict compliance with U.S. export control laws.
Return Policy
Time Frame – Request for return authorization number must be placed within 10 days of receipt of goods. See "Customer Service Request" above.
Wrong Item Ordered – Upon receipt, if you discover you have ordered the wrong item, you can return the purchase at your expense for replacement. A 15% handling fee will be applied. Additional shipping charges will be added to the replacement order.
Wrong Item Received – If you have received an item other than that which you have ordered, we will schedule a pickup for the wrong item and reship the correct item at no additional cost or issue a credit towards the purchase if you would prefer.
Custom Orders – all custom made products cannot be returned and are not refundable.
Shipping Damage - Please inspect all goods as they come off the truck. Mark delivery receipt for any damages. All claims for shortage, defects, and damage must be made within 48 hours of receipt. Claims must include marked delivery receipt and pictures. Failure to follow these directions will result in claims for credit being rejected.
WARRANTY
Jefferson State Forest Products ("JSFP") warrants that its retail display fixtures and related accessories ("F&A") will be free of defects in materials and workmanship. For purposes of this warranty, the term "defects" excludes natural variation and characteristics of the wood in the F&A so long as they do not impair the structural or functional integrity of the F&A.
This warranty is limited to those F&A that are used and maintained in accordance with the conditions set forth in the "Use and Maintenance" instructions provided with the F&A. Failure to use or maintain the F&A in accordance with those instructions will void the warranty.
Except for normal wear and tear or intentional or negligent acts by the JSFP customer or third parties, JSFP will repair or replace, at its sole discretion, defective F&A as follows:
For Indoor F&A: For eighteen months (18) months from the date of delivery of the goods.
For Outdoor F&A: For one (1) year from the date of delivery of the goods.
For Garden F&A: For one (1) year from the date of delivery of the goods.
"Indoor F&A" shall mean F&A that are designed and constructed to be used indoors only with no exposure to the outdoor elements, including rain, snow, or other forms of precipitation or dew.
"Outdoor F&A" shall mean F&A that are designed and constructed to be used indoors or outdoors, but under cover and with no direct exposure to water, rain, snow, or other forms of precipitation or dew.
"Garden F&A" shall mean F&A that are designed and constructed to be used indoors or outdoors.
The remedy specified herein shall be the limited, sole and exclusive remedy for breach of warranty. Incidental and consequential damages are excluded as remedies for breach of warranty.
Except for the warranty expressed herein, there are no other warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranty of merchantability or implied warranty of fitness.
