Bins Outdoor Fixtures Store Accessories Tables Vertical Lifts

Introduction

We at Jefferson State Forest Products believe that your customers deserve the best. Our goal is to provide fixtures that will enhance your produce making it impossible to resist, prompting that ever important impulse buy. We build all of our fixtures to order, not only eliminating costly inventory, but assuring the items are built to your specification and are in the very best condition when arriving at your location. We also offer a custom design service. Please call our office for more information.

For your convenience, we have created an online planner to assist with layout decisions. This proprietary, web-based planning tool has been making it easier for produce managers and designers to create an enticing produce section easily and quickly. Our staff is looking forward to your call and the opportunity to assist you in taking full advantage of the capabilities of the Planner. We will be happy to issue a log-in and password, so that you may save your layout and return to the plan at a later date, or create several plans for consideration. Equipment buyers and produce managers can take a look at the Jefferson Planner by visiting our website at jeffersonstateproducts.com and clicking on the "planner" link.

We are now making the "Original" Super Bin available to all of our customers. Designed to represent the traditional "field bin", the Super Bin conveys the feeling that your produce has arrived directly from the field. We are continuously looking for ways to decrease the cost of shipping and are pleased to introduce one of these new options, the "Flat Pack Super Bin". Designed to conveniently fold down for cost effective shipping or space saving storage, these bins can be stacked four high per pallet, rather than the traditional two per pallet for most fixtures. You may want to consider this option for additional savings when placing your order.

When reviewing our product line please keep the following information in mind:

  • Dimensions for our fixtures are listed as "length" first, then by "width" followed by "height". When selecting signs for your order, "length" by "height" is listed, with "landscape" or "portrait" completing the description. The terminology "low profile" describes a sign holder that sits flush on the sign base. We recommend using liquid chalk on all of our chalkboard signs.
  • We have assigned an "item code" for each of our products. The code is comprised of a series of letters/numbers followed by the general dimensions of the item. Please use this code and a simple description of the item when ordering.
  • Commonly used terms when selecting the choice of shelving for a fixture: "shelf" a shelf that does not slide, "slider" a shelf that slides out, "opposing" shelves on opposite sides of bin, adjacent" shelves next to each other on the front and side of a bin, "surrounding" shelves on all four sides of the bin, "with standards" metal brackets for adjustable shelves.
  • Additional terminology that will be helpful: "capping bin" used as an end cap for market runs, "platform" eight inch high base, same dimension of the bin, used to increase the height for creating a tiered display, "bridge" wedge shaped P-Lam strip that sits between two tilting Market Bins placed back to back when used in market run, providing area for optional signs, "signage platform" (used in same application as bridge) wood trimmed for use between tilting Market Bin and Banana Bin when used back to back in market run, "bin divider" used to separate different items when used on the same display surface, "cover plate" to hide negative space when tilt top is used as an island or stand alone, "gapped fields" gaps between the boards for air flow.

Once you have determined which fixtures you would like to purchase, you are now ready to decide on the attributes for your fixtures. You will first need to select the type of wood of which you would like us to manufacture your fixture. Our selection of hardwoods includes White Oak, Big Leaf Maple, and Pacific Madrone, along with a variety of soft woods such as Port Orford Cedar, Ponderosa Pine, and Douglas Fir. Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) wood is available in Hard Brown Maple for an additional charge of $22.00 per bin. Other FSC wood types may be available upon request.

The standard finish for indoor bins used on our products is a clear semi-gloss lacquer which enhances the natural beauty of the wood. If you would prefer, numerous stain colors are available with an additional $27.50 stain charge per bin or table. For two-tone fixtures an additional stain charge will be added for contrasting colors. We only recommend the use of oiled cedar for all of our outdoor fixtures. Some stains are available for use on oiled cedar. Please refer to "Use and Maintenance Guidelines" for more information. When selecting the Signature Bin there is additional charge of $250 for adding your custom logo. This charge includes the cost of the silkscreen template which will be shipped to you upon completion of your order, allowing you to find further uses for your store. For any additional bins requiring the same logo there will be an additional $50 per bin.

Washable P-lam is used for the top of our fixtures for the surfaces that come in contact with food and also on our shelving. P-lam is available in black, gray or sienna terra. Most of our fixtures come with metal brackets and matching protective corners, both are powder coated and are available in black, mocha, and industrial. Please see stain, P-lam, and metal samples. When you have completed your selection, contact our office for a shipping quote before placing your order. For orders totaling $30,000 or more, no additional shipping charges will be added. Our team of sales consultants will be available to answer your questions and discuss your requested delivery date. We will then be able to provide you with a formal quote which will include the shipping charges on your order. This quote is good for 60 days. Upon your final approval, we will then assist you in placing your order.

We offer several payment options for your consideration. You may send a check or money order, and we also accept Master Card and VISA credit cards. A 50% down payment is required on all first time orders, and is also required on any orders over $10,000. If you would like to establish credit with our company, please provide credit references.

We thank you for your interest in Jefferson State Forest Products, LLC and look forward to working with you in the future.

FIXTURE & ACCESSORIES (F&A) USE & MAINTENANCE GUIDELINES

Our fixtures are divided into three basic categories: Indoor, Outdoor and Garden. We have designed three types of fixtures with very different characteristics to meet the needs of our consumers. Each category requires specific care and maintenance appropriate for each type of fixture. Please refer to the guidelines for each type of fixture listed below:

ALL JEFFERSON STATE F & A

  • Use special care when moving pallet with forklift at time of original delivery
  • Do not use banding as grasping point to move pallet
  • Remove protective banding only after fixture is in close proximity to final location within store
  • Always move fixtures using pallet jack
  • If movement by hand is absolutely necessary, lift by bottom edge of fixture only

INDOOR F & A

What to do:

  • Sliding fixtures across floor to move can cause damage. Use pallet jack only for moving fixtures
  • Use of slider to pick up bin will cause damage to the slider
  • No direct exposure to water (other than cleaning with damp cloth)

OUTDOOR F & A

What to do:

  • Use indoor or under covered outdoor area only
